It is winter now and our survival depends on on a warm cabin in these cold temperatures. So the fire has to be fed day and night. It is beautiful out here with Northern lights in the sky and snow on the ground. But it is also exhausting. Join us for a night and a day at our little cabin in Northern Canada.

Join us for the seasons last wild camping trip into Kluane National Park. Once more we take the Jeep overlanding to get to some remote and wild places in the Yukon Territory. It is the fall now. The weather is moody and the nights dark. We enjoy the warmth from our campfire before we retreat into the tent and cuddle into our sleeping bags. The weather is stormy and the mood is cozy...

It's fall season at the cabin now and we are cooking blueberry jam, harvesting potatoes and all our other vegetables. And we take on a not so fun and super challenging new project... 😋 In other words a lot of chores have to be completed before winter will freeze the ground and hold the north in it's icy grip. We also discover another huge problem in our home on wheels...

After parking our RV somewhere along the Top of the World Highway we head out to another Wilderness Camping Trip. Up on unnamed Mountain tops we enjoy the epic vistas above endless tundra while dramatic clouds roll in at the horizon...

After our wonderful time in Dawson City we now ferry across the Yukon River and venture out on to the remote Top of the World Highway. An epic adventure above the tree line in the alpine.

Last time we left you after our coffee break but still far from any morels mushrooms. So this time our Yukon road trip takes us further north until we finally make it to the old burnside. But there is nothing here... everything looks the same... burnt... and we finally get a bit worried to loose the way back to our Camper. Will we be successful? 😜

It is late when we start our RV and start our Summer road trip over abandoned Roads in Northern Canada. The golden light of the Midnight sun casts a magical light. We headed out to look for morel mushrooms on last years burn sides. But first we go camping on a simple Yukon campground at a deep blue lake. While our little baby boy plays in the shallow waters the two of us jump into the wild lake without mush hesitation. Or maybe a little … 😜

First wild swimming trip of the season! Summer is here with hot temperatures and blue skies. Time to go Skinny Dipping in wild lakes. So on Summer Solstice we head out to a small lake somewhere in the northern Yukon. Kato takes his first steps ever into a northern lake before the rest of us go skinny dipping in the refreshing waters. Afterwards we take some time to relax in the sun, enjoy the pristine wilderness around us and play with the little one. As evening comes we gather around a campfire with some friends, listen to music and stay up until the golden rays of the sun kiss the waters of the Yukon River once more.

The Ice is melting and summer is almost here. And before it is too late Sophie and Peter will take you along for an Ice Bath in the Ice Cold Water of a frozen Yukon Lake. Maybe our last...

One of those days of never ending rain when you just want to get cozy at the cabin, cuddle up in front of the fireplace and listen to the Rain sounds and not do anything... except maybe warming up with a hot cup of coffee in front of a crackling fire... Are we addicted to Ice Baths now? Because again we are jumping into a frozen lake. It's also a good opportunity for Sophie to wear her newest bikini 😜 Once home it is time to relax, play some relaxing massage music and let the day end...

Fuelled by the boost of energy on a sunny day we take up a new adventure and participate in our very own scary Ice bath challenge. Will we succeed...?
